I am incredibly pleased to announce that someone from our local community has stepped up to do the layout for this edition. It is a steep learning curve with the specialist software used to produce the Gazette and Ken has done an amazing job within a very short timeframe.
I am exceedingly grateful and very excited to welcome Ken to the team.
In this issue we have a new advertiser – Handyperson Fuchs – see the ad on page 22. Kevin Hogan has some good news stories and a call to action to Save Norco Milk. Janelle Saffin also urges us to sign the e-petition – see their calls to action on pages 11 and 23. In music, we have Matt Hill, The Upstarts at Dunoon Sports Club and a Women of Song Concert hosted by Northern Rivers Conservatorium. Dunoon United Football Club have a big feature, and a reminder for their AGM on 23 Oct – see pages 15-16. Wildlife news is featured on pages 13 and 25, theatre on page 20 and our regular contributors and advertisers throughout this edition.
I have discovered another great writing talent in our Dunoon Run Club coordinator Woody, who is putting together articles on some of the runners for this and upcoming editions – watch for news on Facebook and the Dunoon Gazette website.
